“Realworld consists of multi syllable rhyme schemes at the end of each bar as well as internally. each verse begins as a journey from one consciousness’ past to his present day life in china, i.e. the real world. as the rap flows speed up as the beat intensifies, the punch lines and political content remain clear and audible. from a simple job in america to capsizing on a cruise ship, the lyrics encourage positivity and responsibility even in the bleakest of situations. only by travelling and exploring what the real world truly is will the fortunate and brave make the changes they envision a reality.”
French DJ, Producer, Remixer & Performer from Asian and Slav roots, Xeum discovered electronic music as a child and quickly started to compose and perform his music. After he graduated from Paris Conservatory of Music, he became a studio-recording artist for EMI and percussionist in the French Air Force Brass Band (Official French President band). With various orchestras, he has performed in prestigious venues like Chatelet Theater, Palais des Congres, Mogador Theater in Paris, Budapest Opera, Kremlin in Moscow. club LOgO Shanghai. Besides collaborations in China (Sony Music HK, Sa Dingding (Universal), Ben Huang, Coco Zhao, Weghur) Xeum supports internationals acts (D’julz, Jimmy Edgar, Team Canada), remixes & releases music for labels such as House Sound of LA, Leonizer (Berlin), Jazzmin (Paris) , E.C.I. (Seoul), Eclesia (Singapore), Avangarde (Munich), reaching the TOP 10 Minimal Beatport with the track Passion by Dirtyworx & Xeum ( S2G ).
Xeum is now touring with a new live eletronic and live instruments show. He was the official DJ of the 3rd Men Fashion Week (Singapore).His music his regularly playlisted and compiled around the world.
